10-13 October / ASLA 2025 Conference: Beyond Boundaries

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) will hold its 2025 Conference on Landscape Architecture from 10 to 13 October at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The event is the largest annual gathering of landscape architecture professionals in the world.

This year’s general session keynote will be delivered by Mitch Landrieu, former Mayor of New Orleans, speaking under the title E Pluribus Unum.

The conference will feature over 140 sessions and events, including:

– Field sessions across the city
– LARE preparation workshops
– “Meet the Editors” publishing sessions
– CVG portfolio audits
– Business Executive Lunch

Highlights from the programme include sessions on designing with fire, biodiversity, nightscapes, vacant parkland activation, and experimental practices such as Feral: Making Wild Landscapes and Play it Cool: Designing the Future of Play in a Warming World.
