Karavan landskapsarkitekter is an independent landscape architecture firm that works on the design of public spaces. With a focus on form and strong technical expertise, we drive projects from early conceptual stages to complete construction documents. Our ambition is to collaborate with our clients in creating interesting, functional, and sustainable environments of high architectural quality.

We handle diverse assignments of varying sizes and stages, ranging from early investigations to comprehensive construction plans. Our competence and flexible approach allow us to take on both large complex projects and smaller commissions. Regardless of the nature of the assignment, we always pay attention to details and show great respect for the site’s history and context. Our intention is to find feasible solutions that endure over time and enhance both the urban space and the quality of life for its inhabitants.

Sustainability is the most important issue of our time, and in our projects, we strive to meet both national and international environmental goals. We aim to create resilient environments that are resistant to climate change and endure over time. Minimizing our environmental impact is a priority we address in all our assignments. Karavan also undertakes specific projects related to ecological sustainability, climate adaptation, and stormwater management.

Over the years, Karavan has won several national architectural competitions and has designed parks, streets, squares, residential areas, natural and cultural environments, and extensive urban development projects throughout Sweden. Our offices are located in Uppsala and Stockholm, and we are owned and operated by Kristina Ehrstedt, Karin Danielsson, and Åsa Ehn Hillberg.
