Coastal Landscapes

Coastal landscapes occupy the threshold between land and sea, zones of dynamic transformation shaped by tides, erosion, and storms. They are simultaneously sites of habitation, extraction, and vulnerability under climate change. Coastal landscapes reveal the fragility of human settlement when confronted with planetary processes. They force design to negotiate shifting ground, temporality, and retreat.
