Escofet is a Barcelona-based design firm that, through the creation of luxury site furnishings and urban elements, is an international leader in the movement to transform and beautify public landscapes. With over a century of mastery and innovation in cast concrete, Escofet is seen as a universal benchmark for the medium, continually pushing the boundaries to enable new structural properties and inspire new design possibilities.
Since 2012, Landscape Forms has been the exclusive North American partner of Escofet, offering a broad collection of its expressive and functional site elements. Escofet and Landscape Forms’ partnership is a natural one — each company shares a respect for design and the contribution of great designers and artists, a focus on craft, and a drive to innovate through materials, techniques and processes.
“The key to the success of our relationship is that we both see the responsibilities of our businesses in the same way — we want to create value via design and quality and, ultimately, produce elements that make for better and easier lives for the citizens of this world,” says Daniel Milà, Director General at Escofet. “We’re two companies, each with great expertise in our respective areas, but we share the same language of landscape, collaboration, innovation and the elevation of public space.”
New in 2025, an expansion to the partnership introduces six innovative cast concrete solutions offered to North American landscape architects exclusively by Landscape Forms. A window into the cutting edge of Escofet’s design and manufacturing capabilities, each of these new solutions is expressive and unique, merging functional design with public art and catalyze innovative new possibilities in the design of outdoor space. While their forms range from geometric to organic, thin and crisp-edged to smooth, flowing and gently rounded, they’re united by Escofet’s distinctive sculptural aesthetic, impeccable craftsmanship and thoughtful functionality.
“When I see Escofet elements, I see functional sculpture,” describes Landscape Forms Director of Design, Ryan Heiser. “They’re captivating, extremely durable pieces that can live virtually forever in outdoor space. When in use, they’re places for people to sit and play, and when not in use, they’re simply art.”
Hand selected to spark creativity and elevate landscape architects’ palette of possibilities, elements from the wide-ranging new offering include Gather modular seating, Petra bioinspired gathering points, Serp modular benches, Soc versatile urban elements, Tiers layered site furnishings and Wave artful modular platforms.
“Unique to this curated selection are the pieces’ scale and modularity,” continues Heiser. “They’re undeniably Escofet, large-format, statement elements and yet they can function as extensions of the landscape — adapting to natural features, inspiring design creativity, and achieving a custom, built-in look with the simplicity of a standard solution.”
