We approach every one of our design projects for public spaces as a unique challenge that far transcends simply developing excellent functional solutions. Each design is informed by an analysis of the site and its context, revealing complex questions pertaining to its distinctive character, potential and identity, especially aiming at liveable and climate-adapted open spaces. Our constant ambition is to develop landscape architectural designs that provide specific and comprehensive answers to these questions while also enhancing and sharpening the perception of a place based upon its own inherent features. Precise spatial and programmatic interventions give rise to functional, multi-purpose spaces that, designed to be future-proof, engender a sense of identification and belonging.

For us, the examination of the design of public spaces always represents much more than just finding functionally very good solutions. During the analysis of location and context, multi-layered questions arise about peculiarity and potential, especially aiming at liveable and climate-adapted open spaces. To find specific and differentiated answers within the framework of landscape architectural designs and to strengthen and develop the perception of a place from within is the constant claim. Through precise interventions in space and program, identification-creating and diversely usable open spaces are created, which in turn, designed to be future-proof, function very well.
