To celebrate the publication of Conservation and Multispecies Relations in Contemporary European Tourism Environments (Volume 49, Issue 7 Landscape Research) Landscape Research Group is hosting a special online Zoom event on Thursday 13th February at 1pm GMT.

This issue builds on recent developments in landscape studies and multispecies research to explore how the human and non-human constitute one another in the context of nature tourism. The research is concerned with an interest in what happens when environmental and conservation projects meet tourism pursued as a strategy for regional development. Within that context, you will hear how landscapes appear as a physical presence, repositories of different kinds of histories and as collective concerns that provoke and inspire ever-new interpretations and discoveries.

This event will be led by the Special Issue Editors, during which each researcher will give a short presentation on their fascinating work, followed by time for audience questions.
