Rising 125 meters above Düsseldorf, the ARAG Group’s corporate headquarters is more than just one of the city’s tallest structures, it is an architectural landmark that shapes the skyline. With its elliptical floor plan and striking double façade, the high-rise exemplifies modern elegance and corporate identity.

As part of the recent renovation of the forecourt, the building has gained a renewed presence, not only through infrastructure upgrades, but also through a sophisticated lighting concept that transforms the arrival experience. The linear façade drainage and grating systems were fully redesigned, offering an opportunity to integrate light in an unexpected and compelling way.

Subtle yet powerful, LED wallwashers from TTC Technology / ADO Lights were invisibly installed within the façade channels. These precision luminaires shine upwards, casting a warm, golden glow that mirrors ARAG’s corporate colour. The entrance canopy is gently illuminated from below, lending the building’s base a new vibrancy, elevating its architectural clarity while also enhancing visual comfort and guidance.

This refined warm yellow tone lighting scheme does more than beautify. It creates a welcoming atmosphere, improves orientation in public space, and emotionally connects the building to the city. Through light, the tower communicates openness and identity, anchoring itself not only in the Düsseldorf skyline but also in the experience of those who approach it.
